***Jericho***
Once upon a time, not so long ago
Was a man and a girl and a wall between them so.
The girl in all her beauty drove this story alone
And the wall so thick and strong is where she found her home.
Inside the wall she found it all, all that she could want
Outside the wall he wondered all, all the wall would want in return.
The wall was safe, it hid her here
And she found the peace she thought was looking for.
Outside the wall, inside his heart, a man stood proud to stand apart
With no one beside him but Love, and love from the start.
He feared for her be
***Stitches***
Crushed by the world it found its start.
Shattered and ruined, split right down the middle,
I was left with much more than a little
hurt in the breaking of my heart.
Like broken pottery but not
for the pieces were more than clay to pot,
but instead...
the pieces were the blood it shed.
What is broken that can't be fixed by glue?
This vessel like pottery contained in me and you.
All that remained, the remnants in all,
needed the skill of the Savior I call
Healer, and Doctor, and Artist, and Friend;
stitch what is broken in pieces from sin.
He gathered the shattered remains of my heart
and handled with love, (His
**How Far?**
Far I failed to see,
'til I was at the edge and
looked at the bridge, aCross.
My eyes couldn't see the horizon,
it couldn't measure the size on an earthly scale,
'til Love closed the gap
and drew me close to You.
How far? I never really knew
until I knew closeness, closeness to You.

**Altar Aflame**
Burned at the altar
though innocent of falter,
His purpose stood much higher.
The Son rose as a bird from the fire,
its wings aflame with loving pyre.
its ashes the remnant of the blaze,
Its purpose perfected by the eyes that gaze
and follow after it in flight towards the heavens.

**Perfect Aim**
My soul found its aim.
My spirit revealed the same
looking through the Cross heirs
finding Love and death,
a war that's been won!
But...
Victory just begun
for those who delight
in the strength of sight that is not their own.
They stand in One but never alone.
Ready to overcome with greater loss,
the heirs become victors,
victors through the Cross.
At no greater cost
I found my perfect aim,
in the Name above all names,
on the Cross by its humble fame.
He showed us how to see,
and seeing showed us how to die
and dying showed us life,
a life meant for you and me,
lived in Love deliberately.
My aim towards
**Love's Speech**
Love's speech
crippled and beaten before beseech,
said nothing,
though nothing was everything
when said without words.
Truth spoke loud and everyone heard,
because Love died
and those were His dying words.
For deep calls to deep in the silence of death,
without provocative speech and eloquent breath.
He uttered without sound;
His voice, though silent, shook the ground
and the foundations of time
striking eternity with a profound Truth;
"All who believe shall enter through."
Through Him to Him, an end unto Himself,
intimately define the depths of health
(life and all that it consists;
life, as Love, progre
**Blessed**
Blessed are those that receive Love's voice
by open hearts and diligent choice.
Blessed are those with pure intent
find in Love all that heaven sent,
and be content with all,
because all is much,
much more than we deserve.
Blessed are the weak
for theirs is the Kingdom of God they seek,
will find humble abundance in a life
after Love's speech.
Blessed are the blessed receivers,
that grateful group of thankful believers,
who ask and seek and knock
and put stock in the overflow of joy and love
back to God our Giver and Provider above.
Blessed are the loved of God
for love is all you need of God!
In finding Love

***Hide and Seek***
There is a game among God and men.
The winner is both who play to win.
The losers are those who do sit out,
who wait to play and wait with doubt.
They wish to find
but seek their prize
with closed eyes
and remain blind
to what they are really looking for.
They won't realize,
'til they open their real eyes,
and seek with their heart,
the God who hides it from the start.
Through out all of time
and our personal histories,
we fail to find His hidden mysteries
and are content having less.
We fail to find and we think it best
as we cease to seek our Blessedness.
But, God never meant it this way;
He hides ho
