***Beautiful Demise***

Tell us the stories of happy endings

the one that began in Your sending

and found its finish, a finished fate

conquering all with 3 days wait.

Your story though over

is never through

but Cross over to the pages of our stories unwritten.

Immerse our hearts 'til hearts are smitten

with the journey towards our happy endings.

But first

with foremost cries...

Captivate our eager eyes

'til our vision delights

in our beautiful demise.

Engaged in the depth of this narrative,

we are bound to death, and a deeper sense of dying.

Delight our senses to a delightful death

and let us cling with our last breath

to a happy grave.

Captivate our humbled ears

'til the sound that resonates, testifies

the eloquence of our beautiful demise.

Engaged in the depth of this narrative,

we are bound to death, and a deeper sense of dying

'til life is bound in us, engaged in the deepest sense of living.

Empty our life poetically

of its rythm

'til it finds in death

its rhyme and reason

in the beautfiful demise.

As we rise from our new death

we find new life and breath in our happy endings.

Inspired by some meditations on the cross of our Lord and recent readings from the "Immitation of Christ" by Thomas A. Kempis. I felt compelled by the love of Christ to draw your heart to the legacy of the cross, for it has no legacy
unless we choose to turn this symbol into more by living our lives dying to everything the cross came to abolish in us. I don't want you to get the impression that this is a happy process, in fact, it will be painful even to your wildest imaginations. But our story doesn't end at the cross it ends in new life and victory, through which we unlock the abundance of our inheritance. We need not enter heaven til we find some heaven on earth. Eternal life doesn't start the day you die it starts now as you die to yourself. Be blessed and humbled by this message, and know that I am humbled with you far from the death and life God has for me. For you aspiring romantics this is your happy ending.
